Which Cake Frame fits your project?
Choose the 6 mm kit when a 30 cm dowel suits your planned assembly. Choose the 9 mm kit when your design requires a thicker base and a longer, 50 cm dowel. Check the base dimensions, total cake weight and internal supports before ordering. Dowel length is not a guaranteed cake height or tier capacity.

What does a Cake Structure Kit include?
Cake Frame 6 mm includes a 6 mm base and a 30 cm central dowel. Cake Frame 9 mm includes a 9 mm base and a 50 cm central dowel. Intermediate boards, additional internal supports, the ruler, cutters and transport box are separate unless the product page states otherwise.
How do I choose between Cake Frame 6 mm and 9 mm?
Start with your assembly dimensions: the 6 mm kit includes a 30 cm dowel; the 9 mm kit includes a 50 cm dowel and a thicker base. Also consider the cake's weight, base size and internal support plan. Do not choose by the number of tiers alone.
What are centre-hole cake boards for?
They sit beneath the cake tiers and allow a central dowel to pass through the assembly. This collection includes round and square MDF and acrylic boards. Check hole size and dowel compatibility before combining products.
How do I personalise my cake structure?
Choose Cake Frame, Dasbi Icon or an acrylic centre-hole board with a logo option. Select personalisation on the product page and follow the artwork instructions. The MDF centre-hole boards in this collection do not offer logo personalisation.
How do I clean acrylic products?
Hand-wash the acrylic boards and ruler with soap and water. They are reusable and not dishwasher-safe.
How do I clean my cake structure and MDF boards with a central hole?
For wooden surfaces, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse them in water or use a dishwasher. MDF centre-hole boards are single-use; surface cleaning does not make them reusable.
What size is the Dasbi Icon box?
The included transport box measures 25 × 25 × 35 cm.
How do I choose a compatible cake box?
Measure the delivery base and the total assembled height, including the structure, decorations and any protruding dowel. Use the cake box finder to compare formats. Check the selected box's usable dimensions and any required accessories. Dasbi Icon already includes its box.
Do cake stands replace an internal cake structure?
Cake stands are generally used to display or serve a cake. They do not replace the internal boards and supports required for a tiered cake. Choose a Cake Structure Kit according to your assembly needs, and a display stand separately when needed.
